Survive to 5 Years Workshop

Survive to 5 Years Workshop

Advancing Small Business Queensland from the Office of Small Business are hosting Survive to 5 Years, a free half day workshop designed to boost your confidence and capability for success in business.

“Your first couple of years as a business owner are the hardest. Even when your passion for what your business is about seems unstoppable, if you’ve never run a business before or haven’t had to deal with staff, budgets, insurances, etc., the learning curve can flip you right upside down.

To boost your confidence and capability for success, the Office of Small Business brings you the opportunity to learn, share and network at this FREE half-day seminar for Mackay region business owners. Hear from and talk to experts about:

  • Starting Out: business models, product development, idea testing, adapting to change and choosing the right technologies.
  • Stepping Up: marketing and sales, financing, accounting, leadership, recruiting and retaining good staff, time management, growth strategies and risk management.
  • What’s Next: mentoring and support, tools, and other Queensland Government Office of Small Business programs to help you.

Get the most out of this event by signing up for no-obligation one-to-one sessions with local and visiting mentors who have extensive and relevant expertise. They’re in business just like you. They understand the challenges and they have survived to share their success strategies with you.”

When: Tuesday 14 March 2017, from 12pm – 5:30pm
