After a recent contract with the QLD Government Department of State Development, Lindon has joined the Federal Government’s Australian Small Business Advisory Service programme as a Business Advisor. The move to business development roles within government follows a diverse career in technical, management, and strategic functions across large multinational corporations and small local businesses. Agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, mining, biofuels and rail, are just some of the industries Lindon has been appointed to, often within business at the forefront of technology, innovation and R&D.
Having managed a wide range of disciplines across a variety of industries, Lindon has an expansive understanding of business practice, and the ability to determine where it is economical and practical to deploy specific tools and methodology. Lindon’s record of innovation and creative thinking makes him an inspirational source of assistance throughout all aspects of business operation, product design, intellectual property protection, funding pathways and commercialization.
Lindon is the Managing Director of his own successful businesses, with interests in property and earthmoving equipment, while trading currencies, commodities and share derivatives. Lindon has impressive achievements in mentoring businesses to a significant growth in an unstable economic environment that resulted in the retraction or failure, of many of their competitors.
