AusIndustry Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship (WISE) Grant

AusIndustry are helping to deliver a new programme as part of Inspiring all Australians in Digital Literacy and STEM. It is an $8 million competitive programme and will run over four years from 2016–17 to 2019–20.

Grant funding per project is $5,000 to $250,000.

The Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Entrepreneurship Programme aims to:

  • support women in STEM
  • remove barriers that stop women taking part in STEM education and careers, including entrepreneurship.

The programme provides funding for businesses, not-for-profits and research organisations to support outreach programmes that target girls and women to:

  • encourage their interest in entrepreneurship
  • develop their innovation and entrepreneurial skills
  • build their professional networks.

The programme also provides funding to identify and celebrate STEM role models in science and research, entrepreneurship and corporate leadership to inspire school-age girls.

The programme is part of the ‘Inspiring all Australians in Digital Literacy and STEM’ element of the National Innovation and Science Agenda.

Current Round Applications Close: 6 October 2016
